# Step-by-Step:
- In a large jar or French press, add 1/2 cup coarsely ground coffee and 2 cups cold filtered water. Stir gently to ensure all grounds are wet, cover, and refrigerate to steep for 12–24 hours.
- Strain the steeped coffee through a fine-mesh sieve lined with a coffee filter or through the press to a clean container. Discard the grounds and refrigerate the filtered concentrate until chilled.
- In a small bowl or jar, whisk together 1/2 cup heavy cream, 1/4 cup whole milk and 2 tablespoons vanilla syrup until the mixture is smooth and slightly thickened but still pourable.
- Fill two glasses with ice. Pour the cold brew concentrate over the ice, filling each glass about three-quarters full. Gently layer the vanilla sweet cream over the coffee.
- Swirl the cream into the coffee with a spoon if desired and serve immediately for best texture and temperature.
